Pros

- The people at Growthspace are genuinely fantastic. Happy, upbeat people in every team that make work enjoyable. - The size of the company means that you'll have lots of experience with different projects to help improve the company. - The pay is pretty solid here. Many people have unlimited time off as well, which is great. - Occasional team meet-ups/business trips

Cons

- The processes and procedures internally are just really immature. Meaning, that they haven't had enough time to refine them into a well-oiled set of efficient processes and procedures. Many times you don't know what to do and communication between teams to get certain steps of your job done can take huge amounts of time because of the disorganization. - Job security here seems to be low. Turnover has been quite large over the past year and that may be due to the L&D/HR tech space being particularly susceptible to recessions, but that's something to keep in mind. - Promised growth opportunities in the future may have to be taken with a grain of salt, as my previous point has affected the company greatly.

Pros

The regular every day workers are nice. Once a week in the office.

Cons

Recently they let go of a lot of women specifically. Some left on their own because of too much stress. One of them commented how the higher-ups are snakes, which is a nice way of putting it. They hire, just to fire and say they are growing and show their employees they're growing, and then suddenly employees disappear and you hear they've been let go. They work their employees to the bone, but claim to have a good work-life balance, which is non-existent, because the CEO has impossible standards and admits it himself, setting benchmarks that don't make sense and expecting employees to meet t hem regardless of whether it's possible. He believes everything he says is gold and is not a plesant person to work with unless you just smile and nod at his wishes. HR only communicates and complies with the wishes of the leaders, leaving employees to feel unimportant and unsupported. They promote the higher-ups but don't show any gratitude to the employees who do the day-to-day work. There is very little employee engagement and welfare and the culture is just work, work, work, work eith no perks you would find at a typical (what they're claiming as a successful) startup in this day and age.

GrowthSpace Response

As in any growing start-up company, there is turnover for performance, personal and other reasons. Growthspace is proud to have 40% women in our entire employee base. Even better, almost 60% of our senior management are women. One of our key values is GROWTH and we're proud to support our employees in their growth journey, as well as our customers. We also provide all our employees growth sprints and are open to providing them to employees who have moved on as well. We're sorry that this was your experience departing the company and we'd be happy to have an open and candid conversation with you to learn more going forward.
