Teams are toxic and a lot of politics is being played. Everything from work, appraisals, appreciations and work life balance depend on if you are a BITS graduate or an ex Flipkart employee. A set of inner circle gets promoted without doing anything. The whole team does not do anything for over a year and when time comes for appraisal, they will blame it on the most hardworking person in the team because that person has the idea about everything and would be able to explain the real tech in meeting to senior management. But these meetings are already set up to judge that particular employee and leads to even toxic work environment for them. Even if you work hard the PMs will take the credit and blame you for menial things which they have no idea about. Zero professionalism and groupism exists. If you make a professional call and disagree on something, they take it personally and make it their life’s mission to get back at you some way or other. They say they have benefits but won’t allocate health insurance or any other benefits when you needs stating stupid reasons like we don’t have any budget for that and you are money minded. They would gaslight you if you ask about benefits at all saying focus on work and other things will come later but those things never come. When someone leaves because of these rumours they will start a rumour that they have fired that person to save image.

Company is very very biased towards ex FLIPKART employees, even if they are dumb company considers them as GOD's Child. Also company is biased towards BITS people. These things are clearly visible to everyone working in the Company but no one dares to talk about it. Even 80% people here are either from BITS or are ex FLIPKART employees. You don't need to intellectual to work in this company, all you need is, you need to from BITS or be an ex FLIPKART employee. All seniors from BITS refer their juniors from BITS in the company and same hapens with Flipkart people. These things has created monopoly of some people with hooliganic mindset in the company. You can clearly see all the PMs , senior developers are either fresher from BITS or from Flipkart, these people are where they are not because of their talent or knowledge but with virtual talent(there talent is that they are either from BITS or flipkart). All these factors are making me like quitting as one can clearly see that someone who is not from BITS or flipkart has to really work hard in order to get appraisal, recognition or get senior positions, but for people from BITS or flipkart they don't even have to work , they are blessed with their seniors from BITS or flipkart, these guys don't have words like hardwork in their dictionary.
