Pros

Met some really cool people I'm still friends with. However most people are stuck up and annoying. Some people don't even acknowledge you.

Cons

1. The pay sucked 2. The work was tedious and boring 3. Engagement within the team SUCKED 4. My manager spoke to me only once for the 3 months I was there 5. People will blame you for mistakes that aren't your fault. 6. Your manager will not have a conversation with you on performance or what "other people" are saying about your work.. but rather will have other file clerks do it. 7. You have to pay for a cup of coffee... 8. You have to pay to wear jeans on Friday 9. People will literally ignore you if you talk to them 10. They really don't care if you quit. My manager said "ok" and got back to her work 11. They have a no tattoo policy. I had to cover my tattoo with a gross low quality band aid provided by them the one day when it was really hot and I had to file constantly because I took off my sweatshirt. This includes squatting and walking back and forth for hours. 12. Every time I went into the office supply room, the IT person would follow me. I never gave him a reason to. 13. Overall negative enviornment. I hated working here. Detested it with a passion. This company doesn't care about you, they're just money hungry.

Pros

-The cafe is nicely updated. The following are just to fill in the 20 word minimum. -Bonuses for reaching [unattainable] goals. -PTO/Vacation that can never be used. But it sure looks pretty on paper!

Cons

-$12 per hour. Seriously. -You feel like you’re being interviewed for an executive position. Just kidding... did you forget about the $12 an hour? -Management is older than dirt, and therefore has traditional values when it comes to policies. *The best part is that you are required to dress the part of a corporate position, however AGAIN your pay is minimum wage. **This isn’t a review from a delinquent employee. Rather one who was actually one of the few offered a “true” promotion as a trainer, but declined and gave resignation instead.

Pros

The hours at Gryphon are fantastic for people who value their free time. Also, the company holds events such as picnics and parties for the employees regularly and occasionally caters a meal in the office.

Cons

Family owned and run business means those who are not in the inner-circle of family or family-friends are at a large disadvantage. For example, a son of the owner is known to harass almost every attractive female in the company yet nothing is ever done. There is a large disconnect between what information employees are given to succeed and the success that is expected of them. This employer will also nickel and dime you for things like office coffee or wearing jeans to work on Fridays.
