Drain the life from young talent until they quit from burnout
Pros
The employees who work here are great people who work their hardest to their jobs well. During my tenure at the company, I have only met people with drive and passion.
Cons
Guardsquare prides itself on their "no bad people" policy, something which clearly does not extend to upper management. With a few exceptions, management at this company are highschool mean kids who spend more time worrying about perception and gossiping than worrying if their team isn't burning out one by one. I have seen entire teams quit in the span of two months because of how mismanaged this place is. I chiefly blame this on the profit above all else mindset they went headfirst into. The sales team had the worst of this, they saw people joining and quitting in less than a year; the most experienced sales people all left in 2025. The engineers are promised challenges and rewarding work but are stuck with absolute drudge work that I would feel guilty giving to interns. Lastly, this place is vindictive. It's why I don't even want to mention my position at the company. The damage these people have done to the minds of very promising young talent is absurd. Don't apply here, if you have no other choice, try to find an exit plan before your first year is up.
