      Pros

      Local focus A very generous revenue incentive for consultants who find new work Lots of knowledge sharing among their limited consultant base

      Cons

      Their salary offer was much lower than my established rate They seem to have trouble finding engagements outside a very small client base core They could not place me despite my professional versatility and copious experience

      Glorified Staffing Agency, led by a guy out of touch (and his wife and sister)

      Pros

      Flexible time, and you begin your career here thinking yo are the newest "shiny object" in the portfolio, but the shine soon fades.

      Cons

      Pay is below market value, the CEO is emotionally not capable of leading or serving the greater good of the organization (he runs around chasing new things and lacks the ability to see things through to a successful completion.
