Pros

The pros include: - Staff are trained very well from juniors throughout to seniors - There's also a good opportunity for growth at the company and hard work and merit is rewarded. - Very friendly staff, easy for new starters to settle in. - Well respected in the legal field. - A big emphasis in giving back to the community and helping vulnerable clients. - Staff are supported throughout their careers. - A lot of supervision is available and provided.

Cons

I cant think of anything regarding this.

Horrible Place to Work – Unfair and Unprofessional

Pros

Training staff well in the department

Cons

The company suffers from a significant issue with favouritism, particularly when it comes to senior staff. It is apparent that certain individuals are protected, regardless of their performance or behaviour, while others are held to an unreasonable standard. The treatment from management can often be disrespectful, with frequent shouting and condescending remarks. There seems to be little regard for employees' well-being, especially when it comes to work-life balance. Time recording is overly scrutinised, and there is little flexibility or consideration for personal commitments. While there are some positives, the toxic atmosphere and lack of support from leadership make it difficult to remain motivated and grow within the company. The organisation could benefit from a shift in leadership and a reevaluation of its culture to promote more respect, trust, and fairness.

Dear employee of 4 years, your experience is very out of sync with almost all the others and much of what you claim does not chime with our lived reality. Nonetheless, we are sorry that you feel this way and that it took you over 4 years to decide that GN was not for you; we hope you are happier where you are working now and wish you well.
