Pros

Clothes are nice, office is in a central location and junior team members are nice and approachable.

Cons

Management are there from the beginning -many without managerial training. Toxic work environment for a lot of staff, a lot of blame culture and a constant change of staff- between people leaving, being fired or being made redundant. Senior Team are more concerned about their social media presence than the well being of their employees. A lot of pressure on staff to promote the brand or make money for the brand constantly , even enticing staff with prizes should they meet targets- which even when targets are met the prizes are then never given or discussed again. There is an expectation from managers to work late (unpaid) and to attend events over the weekends to support the brand.

Pros

•Hybrid working model •Nice colleagues • New Office

Cons

• Paid to do the job of one person but executing the jobs of 4 people. • Understaffed, employee numbers and teams do not match the growth ambitions. • Culture not set from the top and has not been established. Employees are leaving every week or getting fired. The culture depicted in the interview is not what the reality is. • High stress load and pressure to work out of hours. • Work life balance is poor. • Management are unorganised, don’t set a clear direction. The narrative changes too often, leaving everyone in a state of confusion. Some management are in their position because they are there since day 1. This has resulted in poor managers who lack the skills to manage a team.
