Great company, but compliance issues and layoffs hurt it

It was a great company to work for.

Cons

There was some compliance issues that needed to be addressed. Some of the old mechanics were used to doing things the way they "had always done them" same thing with training and other managers rather than reading the manuals so it led to customer issues. It could have definitely been avoided. AAR Corp took over and just laid off all the good people who were trying to make positive changes rather than interviewing anyone. So now they are stuck with all the ones that are in that "lets keep doing it the way we have always done it mindset". If they dont sell it or break it down for parts - I will be surprised.

The people you work with day to day are great

Cons

Lower than average pay. Upper management does not seem to remember working day to day on the floor. Very high pressure/stress even though they tell you it is not.
