Pros

In theory, HAWC's commitment to addressing social justice, privilege, and oppression is inspiring. Unfortunately, this does not happen in practice.

Cons

- Lack of adequate training, support, and supervision - Decisions are made hastily and aren't clearly communicated to staff - Client-care suffers and comes as a second priority due to office conflict - Advocates aren't readily accessible because offices are understaffed, under-resourced, and often closed to the public

Pros

Flexible work hours, other than that I can't think of any. Run for the hills!

Cons

High Turnover. Too many meetings, that involve a lot of driving back and forth. Lack of structure and protocols. A lot of mismanagement and loss of funding due to that.
