It's a con alright. Showed up for an open call for people to take tickets and help seat people at Barret Jackson. They were also hiring "car pushers". Was told to make sure and look nice, get a nice pair of freshly pressed slacks, be prepared to be on camera. When I showed up on time, I was handed a purple security jacket and tole to stand in the cold outside in the parking lot. Basically I was working outside security. I'm not a security guard. If they had told me it was a security guard job, I would have put on some tennis shoes and dressed warmly. The wind was blowing and it was going to rain. It's rare that a company will just out and out lie about a job, so you're probably better off crossing this one off your list.
