Thank you for your feedback. At HM we have two different divisions, Early Intervention (EI) and School Based Services. On the EI side, the director and program manager run a structured onboarding/training program including opportunities for shadowing. The team holds monthly meetings for collaboration and our director is always available by phone/text/email to discuss clinical questions. On the school side, we have an optional mentorship program. The individual school teams meet weekly or every other week for collaboration and communication as well. HM provides employees with a CEU platform as well as internal presentations on a variety of clinical topics that are driven by employee requests. A monthly newsletter provides companywide communication. Although many of these opportunities for training and collaboration are optional most of our employees take advantage of them. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve to ensure our employees continue to get the support they need.

Pros

HM Directors and Managers are super supportive and flexible. I enjoy the flexibility to work in more than one type of setting. Managers, mentors and team members are excited to work together and enjoy collaboration. Even through structural and management additions and changes, I feel supported and valued as an employee. HM seeks out feedback from their employees and areas of need for improvement. HM cares about work-life balance and provides both reminders and opportunities to employees for self-care. HM is innovative and growing and I enjoy being a part of their team!

Wonderful Company!

Pros

This will be my 5th year working at HM as a therapist, and I couldn't have asked for better employers. Previously, I worked at a very large organization where I felt like I was no more than an employee ID number. HM is the total opposite of that. It has a family-like feel where every employee has a voice. The owners of the company are therapists and they still take a part in the clinical side of practice which gives them incredible empathy towards all their therapists in the field as they get what it's like. Additionally, the owners are honest, open-minded, caring, and truly good people all around. The company has put a lot into mentorship and operations over the last year as they are slowly growing in size. The administration that they hired are awesome therapists as well and experts in the pediatric field. As an employee I feel like I have the opportunity to grow as a clinician, have independence to practice, and have a great work-life balance. Couldn't be happier!

Cons

There are no cons for working at the company itself. It does take a self-motivated, organized, team player to work in this particular setting so it may not be for everyone!
