      Pros

      There is the opportunity to work flexible hours.

      Cons

      The work is not worth the pay. I've worked in the hospitality industry for years, and took this job to supplement my income. To be honest, the work at HMG+ is consistently as labor-intensive as the busiest days I've ever experienced in the restaurant industry (including super bowl at a sports bar), and the pay is just not worth it. I'd say only take it if you're desperate.

      Working here is better than being broke and homeless.

      Cons

      Pay is peanuts, felt like I was being exploited. Management is nonexistent. 6 shift rules out part-time employees and basically eliminates flexibility.

      At HMG+, we value all of our employees with the utmost care and consideration. We strive to pay our team competitively, and give the opportunity for a number of bonus plans as well as a 401(k) Retirement package, which is an industry-standalone initiative. We allow all of our employees the opportunity to make their own work schedule based on their availability, and only ask that they work a minimum of six-shifts during our busy seasons (March - May, September - December). We are disappointed you did not enjoy your experience with us, and wish you the best on future endeavors.

      Pros

      They have good rapport with corporate clients so consistent gigs during busy season Gigs can lead to client hiring you themselves

      Cons

      Pay is way too low Bookers hound you to work by calling/emailing nonstop 6 gig a month minimum but gigs get cancelled last minute
