Pros

- Remote - Flexible working hours - the team is always ready to help

Cons

- Flexible working hours are so flexible that you have to work at night, which is welcomed in the company. -Toxic communication disguised as respectful communication. -They use manipulative methods to prove that you must suffer to get something. -There are so many meaningless calls every day that sometimes there is no time left for work.

Thank you for your feedback! We’re constantly refining our processes to strike the right balance between flexibility and a healthy work-life rhythm. While we encourage autonomy over work schedules, we never want flexibility to turn into burnout. That’s why we are actively working on better workload management to ensure balance. Meetings should enable productivity, not disrupt it. We are optimizing meeting structures to reduce unnecessary calls and improve communication. At the same time, we believe that clarity and respect should always be at the core of workplace communication. We’re reinforcing leadership training to ensure feedback is always constructive and supportive. If you have additional thoughts, we’d love to hear them! Feel free to contact hr@holywater.tech anytime.

Pros

There are no pros in this startup

Cons

A disgusting startup. Most employees do not stay for more than 6-8 months, as the LinkedIn statistics eloquently indicate. Only juniors work there, who are told that they are dirt from under the fingernail and must work overtime. The CEO has a God complex, they write smug articles about imaginary successes and how great they are at firing people in difficult times and, of course, how good it is to work overtime. Nothing personal, just business. Salaries are very low and do not correspond to the volume of requirements. The startup normally makes mocking jokes using icons, which make a believer feel only shock. They don't care about anything except money. They squeeze people like a lemon, they ambiguously hint to men that if they work hard, then a good lawyer will help them avoid being drafted into the army. It is better to avoid this sturtup

Thank you for your feedback. We’re committed to creating an environment where people can grow, thrive, and feel valued. Many of our employees have advanced from junior to senior roles and beyond, and we continue investing in structured career paths to ensure growth is accessible to everyone. We believe in open, transparent conversations; feedback should always inspire growth, not discourage it. We’re continuously refining how feedback is delivered, and we encourage team members to share any concerns with their HR manager so we can address pain points directly. We also regularly review salaries to align with market trends and ensure fair pay. Aiming to prevent overtime, when extra work is necessary, it is always compensated financially or with time off. We’re committed to building a company where ambitious people can do their best work without feeling drained or undervalued. If you’d like to discuss your experience in more detail, our HR team is always available at hr@holywater.tech.

Manipulative and toxic

Pros

Interesting work, ambitious, popular apps

Cons

Overtimes as a part of corporate culture, management communicates toxicly, feedback is presented in a rude manner (for some reason the creators think that this is how they are like Netflix. That is, a good idea of open feedback is used to humiliate and manipulate), salaries are below the market average. In general, it can be described as a company for which all means are good to achieve the goal. They don’t care about moral standards, ethics, employees, consumers. And the goal is one - more money

Thank you for your feedback—we genuinely appreciate constructive insights that help us grow. While we value dedication, a healthy work-life balance is just as important. We continuously improve workload planning to prevent unnecessary overtime, and when extra work is required, we ensure it is compensated—either financially or with additional time off. We also believe in open, direct communication; our goal is to make every conversation supportive and professional. If you ever felt otherwise, we’d love to hear more so we can address it. Your HR manager is always available for a discussion, and we encourage reaching out when needed. Compensation at HOLYWATER is reviewed regularly to align with industry standards and reflect contributions fairly. Many of our employees have progressed from junior to leadership roles, and we continue working on strengthening internal career growth. If you’d like to share more details, we’d love to hear from you. Feel free to reach out to hr@holywater.tech anytime.
