Honestly not a good place to work

Pros

If you like to travel non stop and are willing to not have a personal life outside of travel, then the place is for you.

Cons

1- The client is always right, even if it's a bold face lie, and you have the documentation to prove it. Seriously, you can have emails saying one thing, but the client says another behind your back, it doesn't matter, you'll get an earful. 2- Client wants you on site for a month strait and you have things that need to be taken care of at home? You don't anymore, cancel it. Travel is part of consulting but there is seriously no respect for any personal commitments. 3- Get ready to travel with around 12-24 hours notice. On a Sunday you'll be asked to fly to CA the next day. And you'll be the one booking the flights, car, hotel. Oh did the highway collapse while you were traveling to the airport and you missed the flight? Get ready to get an earful. Missed a connecting flight and had to stay over in a hotel? Get ready for an earful. Flights super expensive because you HAD to book last minute, yup that's your fault as well. And yes this all happened. Act of god? Yup that's on you. 4- There will be times that you are sent out to a site with very little information, sometimes without knowing who the site contact is. You maybe sent to a site and only learn the application they need help with when you touchdown. And at times, it will be an app you know very little about. On one occasion I was sent to a site and only found out that they needed help with PHA when I GOT THERE. I knew near nothing about PHA. 5- The non compete basically locks you out of getting another gig in the EHR consulting field. And I believe it's for five years. And they will enforce it, several former employees got letters and calls from their lawyers.

Pros

There was a lot of room for advancement. Also there was no micro-managing. Excellent if you enjoy traveling. Having the ability to work remotely depending on the project is a plus. Loved the food and cafeteria at the office in Quincy.

Cons

There was a lot of gossiping going on in the office while I was trying to work. As a consultant, traveling can get exhausting depending on what part of the US you are required to work onsite.
