      This company truly rests on it's laurels

      Pros

      100 plus year family owned company. They have an excellent trainer. They have some excellent agents who have been there for years.

      Cons

      An absolutely toxic work environment with one of the worst management turnover rates anywhere. In their zeal to stay cutting edge, they are constanty rolling out new technological programs and it appears that they almost never beta test them. It makes agents extemely irritable. New agents flock to them because of their relentless recruiting campaigns. Almost none of them make it to the third year. Successful agents that work there would be successful anywhere but are not inclined to leave because management makes it extremely difficult for them to transistion to another company

      Pros

      This is a great place to work, especially for new agents entering the industry. HUNT is very active is making agents comfortable and teaching agents about their field of work. There are constant opportunities to better yourself as an agent.

      Cons

      You are a salesperson, so if you don't sell, you don't make anything. That being said, it always takes awhile to start up, as people need to know what you are doing. That can't let new agents get discouraged. In order to be good at this job, you need to be prepared to have some failures, but have an open mind and learn from any mistakes you make along the way.

      Pros

      Its a paycheck. They have a 401k plan (oh wait they don't match any money) well at least they have one. long lunches.

      Cons

      The owner is a vulgar individual who uses nothing but profanity to convey his point of view. His father when he was alive was the sweetest most caring person you could ever meet. He always put the employees first. I often wonder what he thinks of his son now? Also want to add the next generation to take over the company is even worse. Very uneducated. Do yourself a favor and find a better place to put in your time and efforts.
