World class surgeon s performing world class surgeries, Truly brilliant in the OR however a decade behind in evidence based practice post op concerning a number of of standard practices that the rest of the area uses thatPENN does not. Example: using it iron for IVDA, the literature bears out to use in iron for 4 days as the resolution, NOT blood transfusions unless absolutely necessary.
Cons
Not up to date on commonly accepted , evidence based practices, but rather the mantra was “ we have always done it this way and will continue to do so” despite literature to the contrary.
