Pros

There are no pros at all. Steve the owner is a low down jerk, that wouldn't know a good employee if they bit him in the butt.

Cons

Running a rest area in the desert in summer is hard enough, but HMI makes it impossible. You live onsite. Basically are on call 24/7 and are paid for 8 hours a day $9.00 per hour. No mail is delivered to the house, you have to drive 20 miles one way to go to the little Podunk town to a p.o. Box to even get your check, and since they refuse to do direct deposit, you are forced to cash it at the local general store, for a huge fee. Usually about $25 to cash a $700 check. U have a company truck, but they can tell u where and when u can use it. Horrible company.
