We agree 100% with the importance of an open and respectful communication and the importance of acknowledging the efforts of the good performers. Happy Finish offers training, supports employees who want to access development opportunities and commits to a structured performance management system to ensure staff is rewarded based on the contribution given to the business. We foster a culture that support open communication. Anyone within the company can voice his concerns if the working conditions fail to meet the expectations, either because lack of recognition, abuse or salary issues. The company always addresses such problems and tries to find the best solution. Our staff salary packages are consistently benchmarked against the market. We do our best to offer wages that go above and beyond the average rewards provided within our industry to attract talents and retain good performers. That is how we managed to have fantastic people who worked for us in the past and an amazing team currently working for us, as the reviewer correctly says. We are very grateful to this feedback as it motivates Happy Finish to increase the efforts in fostering a strong people culture, which in turn ensures employees efforts are acknowledged and their recommendations addressed.

Just about Average Management

Pros

It's a great company for someone wanting to stabilize one's career, with little to no growth in terms of learning new skills. 5 Working days a week.

Cons

People employed in higher management in India are swapping roles in which they have no experience whatsoever. Production person keeps changing every now and then, there's no stability in Production or Sales. Project management and organization is a mess. Every aspect of company failure is blamed onto the only stable teams CG/Retouch Artists, While no credit is passed on in case of project Success. Financial growth for Indian employees has stalled for the past 2 yrs. Salaries are being payed 1.5 - 2 months late. No exit Interviews.

Negative responses cause us to either change course of action or better communicate action we're already taking to make the company a better place to work. As this employee mentions, employees responsibilities and duties change during the employment experience. This is because of the nature of our business. Our organizational structure need to maintain a high level of plasticity and flexibility to ensure anybody working in Happy Finish can express their full potential. This in turn creates additional career pathways and opportunities. Happy Finish prides itself on being a performance based culture. We offer competitive salaries and we make sure we compensate our employees fairly based on the duties they are asked to manage. We agree 100% with the importance of a 2-way communication culture. We will certainly use the employee feedback to increase our efforts in fostering such a culture and ensure employees are heard and their recommendations addressed. This is why the company encourages feedback, ensures regular performance reviews and keeps records of them, arranges weekly training meetings to discuss ways to improve current processes and managers have an open door policy as well as the HR department to discuss suggestions, allay concerns and issues staff members may experience during their employment period.
