Supportive working environment and achievable targets. Hybrid working.

Pros

Peer support from others in my team Pay is reasonable and in line with market but keep in mind growth potential at annual review as this isn’t reflected, recent was 3%

Cons

Bullied by partners and senior associates. I took my complaint to HR who brushed it under the carpet. No culture at all, they do boardroom drinks at the end of the month and nothing else. No training provided basically thrown into workload and not provided any support for matters even if you highlight you have no experience in this. Advertised as flexible and you can work from “anywhere”. This is not true, office time is mandated and you will be refused opportunity to work from home on these days, regardless of the reason. I had secured a place to attend a free training slot at the Law Society of Scotland that would have been good for both professional and personal development - my manager refused to allow me to attend and I had to cancel.
