      Pros

      Fast-paced, exciting work with an organization that truly cares about its people. You get out what you put in - if you are prepared to work hard and learn you will be rewarded with exciting and meaningful work, excellent chances to advance and build your career. Depending on your interests there is room to work with a variety of clients, from fortune 500 to political polling to healthcare and more. HarrisX has a flat organization structure, and that means you get plenty of opportunity to learn from highly experienced and intelligent leaders, with no room for egos. The company is admirably open and receptive to feedback, and treats its employees with kindness and compassion for their individual circumstances.

      Cons

      This job is not for everyone - during busy times the hours can be long and the workload substantial, so people who are not the right fit can burnout.

      Pros

      I have worked 20+ years in private and public companies of many different sizes and industries. HarrisX is the only company that goes beyond "COLA" raises and actively mentors, trains and invests in employees. The most valuable way is from day 1 even the most junior employees are supported, trained and encourage to speak directly to C-level executives, board members, clients and vendors. I have never worked in a company that offers employees the level of "front-facing" experience from the get-go. This is supplemental by customized training (external and internal) and a highly collaborative and collegial atmosphere. In addition to working with exciting clients and cutting edge subject matter, it is a primary reason I have stayed!

      Cons

      HarrisX's "DRI / Directly Responsible Individual" model may not be for everyone - but it is a superb learning experience and employees who do stay rapidly advance professionally and also gain unmatched interpersonal, professional and technical skills. HX teams, and even former employees, are typically described as "punching above their weight" whether they stay or leave
