Pros
I see that the Havas Edge HR team is begging for better reviews, must be that time of the year again.
Cons
Reading some of the newer reviews and seeing the willingness to state comments had been curtailed due to ‘profanities and obscenities’ is all too telling of the toxic environment they are enabling and that this company propagates. Make no mistake, people have talked to the CEOs and their inaction is clearly written in these reviews. We confronted them with signed open letters and discussions with HR that ended with targets on our backs. Yes, the retaliation is prolific throughout this company, from C-Suite down. We asked for flexibility, we pleaded not to be driven back to the office where little to no measures had been taken. Many risked their livelihoods to leave this horrible company during the pandemic and that should tell you a lot about the type of people that run this place. People aren't writing bad reviews because they work overtime, or the snacks aren't great or that they can't work from home all the time. They are writing because from the beginning Havas Edge didn't take the pandemic seriously. The CEOs wanted people in the office but didn't want to compromise with us. They were just forced to follow state mandates and they complained about it the whole time. For these CEOs it is about the bottom line and only that. This is apparent in the actions that they took. They did everything they could to save a buck, people were fired a month after CEOs and VPs got their bonuses and promotions. A whole department was wiped out, people that had been working at the company for over 10 years were booted out. These reviews are not just about the firing of people, it happens, but how they did it was vile, sneaky, and shameful. They slashed team members with no notification to their supervisors. We couldn't get a list of people that were gone. We slowly found out when projects fell through the cracks because the people that were maintaining them were no longer there. This company has taught me that I am worth more than a free lunch, that I deserve to be treated like a human being not a robot, and that I will never stop warning others about the dangers of this abhorrent company. If the mass exodus of people moving on to BETTER places wasn't enough for the CEOs to see how despicable they have become, nothing will.
