Pros

Nothing about the company is positive except for your coworkers. I got to work with all of my friends who went to my school.

Cons

Just because you're a Christian company doesn't make you an honest company. This company is the worst company I have ever worked for. They forced lifeguards to work in construction sites for free. Payroll was disorganized and many of my coworkers never got paid. I only got payed because I refused to work until I got paid, I didn't get a check till my last day. Oh and they were just fined for over $80,000 for violation of child labor laws. Management also wouldn't allow us to drink water from the food stands, we had to use the hose out back. We were treated like dogs!

Pros

Employees get to go to the water park for free and get monthly tickets for friends and family.

Cons

Management is very non-receptive to concerns over payment. This may have changed since I previously worked there, but many workers had issues getting all of their hours paid. This behavior unfortunately seems to pretty common among businesses who employ teenagers and young adults who don't have experience in dealing with workplace disputes or labor laws. Hopefully this has improved since then but I would advise all future and current workers to keep an eye out on this and keep track of your own time to back up any complaints or questions you might have.

Pros

Met a few cool people, was a decent first job. Learned cash handling quickly.

Cons

Awful awful people work here. It is displayed as a christian-based family-friendly place....yet 4 managers were fired one morning because they brought a case of alchol into the break room and began drinking at 9 am. They were fired immediately and management didn't feel the need to hire new managers. Terrible scheduling- would often go full 8 hour shift without a break in the middle of Texas heat.
