This company advertises treating their staff well but it’s just another toxic, hospitality work place that push you to your limits
Poor pay (minimum wage)
Poor restaurant management (Knightsbridge) one of them being a patronising, clueless, unprofessional guy and the other a being blunt, rude guy with no compassion and makes you feel like an inconvenience
They don’t like it if you have other commitments or jobs
If you like weekends off, this isn’t for you and when you ask for a weekend off you’re treated like you’ve asked for the world
Insufficient breaks (10 minutes)
Poor staff meals
They put you in the rota more shifts than you signed up for
Very hard and demanding job with little to no appreciation
Did I mention they pay minimum wage?
They fire people/ fail peoples probations in a very secretive, unprofessional, insensitive ways with no notice (just at the end of a shift) and then don’t address it to the rest of the team so someone will just disappear one day never to be seen again
Very male dominated work environment
Metal health support is non existent
They dazzle you with a discount and free stuff but treat you very terribly (minimum wage and no proper break etc)
Tips are split so much that you don’t really see them, just goes into your tax reductions
They promote that they pay £14 per hour which is very misleading as that’s a rough guess with tips and it isn’t guaranteed and doesn’t count for holiday or when everyone was on furlough
You often have a section and a half in the restaurant which is up to 10 tables and they are often all full at some point in the night
SO SO much staff turn over, it’s a bit crazy to be honest
