Pros

This organization is outstanding at furthering your professional aspirations. EVery time I asked for help to help me attain teaching certification the organization always helped me and went above and beyond in doing so.

Cons

There isn't much professional growth from the standpoint of useful and functional trainings. They are sporadic and seemingly inconvenient. The organization doesn't seem to care about employees. I was threatened by a co-worker and nothing was done about it. WHen I expressed my discomfort I was ignored. Upper management are rude, disrespectful, and condescending for the most part. It created an awful working atmosphere

Pros

Great Company! Lots of support from administration. I have learned a lot about applied behavior analysis. Senior Teachers are knowledgeable and supportive, and the teacher assistants are highly trained.

Cons

Job can be tough, but the Senior Teachers are very supportive

Pros

The only good thing is the kids.

Cons

It is with great disappointment that I write this terrible review for Hawthorne Foundation that has demonstrated a consistent trend of favoritism and has created deplorable working conditions for its staff. As a concerned individual, I feel obligated to shed light on the negative experiences endured within this educational environment. One glaring issue is the rampant favoritism shown towards certain staff, while neglecting and undermining others. This prejudiced treatment undermines the principles of fairness and diversity that should be upheld in any learning institution. It creates an unhealthy learning environment, where staff feel discouraged and diminished. Students who happen to be part of the chosen few receive preferential treatment, enjoying privileges that are denied to the rest of the student body. Another distressing aspect is the evident bias when it comes to disciplinary actions. It is disheartening to witness teachers receiving preferential treatment based on their connection to staff members or social status, thus escaping the appropriate consequences for their actions. This fosters a culture of irresponsibility and undermines the integrity and effectiveness of the disciplinary system. The administration's failure to address staff concerns, such as inadequate resources, heavy workloads, and lack of professional development opportunities, takes a toll on the morale and overall job satisfaction. As well as horrible pay at the school.
