      Pros

      Sometimes smaller work environments can be good. Smaller environments allow you to get to know the people you work with as well as those in positions 'above' you.

      Cons

      This district just gives me bad vibes. So much just seems unprofessional. The building I am in may be the biggest issue. Very hands off, VERY impersonal. Some days I wonder how the administrators got their jobs.

      I can’t think of any.

      Cons

      No one at the district level actually listens to teachers. Teachers get blamed for every failure, but teachers are mandated to do what the district tells them to. We do that, then scores fall, and teachers are still to blame?? Also, say goodbye to work-life balance.
