Pros

The compensation was above average. Don’t be fooled - it will be used as leverage to hang over your head in future conversations. You get your own office: don’t be fooled - it is temporary at best and you will move from cubicle to cubicle space at the whims of the emotionally charged CEO.

Cons

It took me 3 months to write this review... i am no longer employed at Health Endeavors and I haven’t worked for the company for a while now. The company is trying to Rebrand as “Patient Lookup” to hide from true reviews like this one and the many more you will see on GlassDoor. However, once I too saw the FLOOD of positive reviews coming in I KNEW FOR A FACT they were fake. I have emails from the CEO: Kris Gates; asking the entire staff to go write positive reviews and they would be compensated with gift cards for doing so. THIS IS WRONG. DO NOT BE FOOLED. Kris Gates is a monster of a woman to work for and she doesn’t know how to lead a company from the CEO visionary leadership position. She is continuously ruining the awesome idea that Health Endeavors software could be capable of. She is a compliance lawyer by trade and thought she would try her hand at Entrepreneurship. Fine. But don’t deceive people into working for you with fake reviews just to trap someone into playing your game because the salary is higher than average. Your life will become miserable. It’s not worth it. ITS NOT WORTH IT. Unless you are extremely desperate for a job / keep looking. If you do star my here... God Bless your Soul. Keep your head down and don’t make her angry... constantly look for a new gig while you are employed here or else you will get walked out one day without a moments notice and wonder what could I have done better? Truth is - it’s not you. It’s the monster leading the ship.

Pros

I would say the compensation package, but they will fire you anyways, so it's not even worth mentioning.

Cons

Where do I start?! If you like chaos and getting fired, this is the place for you! This place is the most negative and depressing work environment I have ever seen. You will get yelled at and freak outs over small things. You feel like your on egg shells everyday, no way to live. Management is a mirco manager style and basically fires anyone they don't like. They creates drama between people and talk crap behind everyone's back. Managers are sometimes kids that walks around saying inappropriate things, cussing all while chewing tobacco. Some Managers don't even attempt to sell anything or do any work, I dont think I have ever actually seen one of the managers working. The directors are nice at times, but they are not allowed to think for themselves, they simply go along with everything the owners say. At least 20 people get fired in only a couple of months (with only 30 employees, this is ridiculous). They create random positions then fill them, and then decided they don't like you or don't need that position anymore, and boom, you're gone. Company started in 2008 but they only have 4 or 5 people that have been there longer than 3 years. The owners hire family members, who do not actually do any work. If someone gets fired, they simply put all the extra work on you, instead of replacing that person. There is NO organization, you're office and desk will move every other week. Forget bonding with co-workers, they get fired so often you don't get a chance to get to know anyone. I would have to say I thought this little start up would be a great experience, but it ended up being a hell hole. Do yourself a favor and look for something else.

Pros

Salary. Don't fall for it because they won't keep you long!!

Cons

For five days, I sat and watched videos educating Medicare providers on Medicare programs. On day six, I was assigned a task of writing a User Guide on a system that I only saw a brief video about. I asked for some directions as to what they were looking for and on day 7, I was given notice that I was not working out.
