Pros

- They were good for the first 3 weeks and seemed to put in effort to teaching then

Cons

- Complaints about teaching staff (neglect to teach even when asked to weekly.) - They don't value their workers, you are just a number, and they show this by regular turn over of staff - They mistreat their physios, to the point that's its a borderline human rights issue - Dodgy contract. It raised a number of red flags. - Don't give warnings for issues, instead the manager sits at the front desk and loudly complains to all the other staff about their colleague, and in front of clients too (didn't happen to me but she did it about all the physios, it always made me uncomfortable) - Higher management are out of touch with what is happening at some of their locations for the company - They are stingy with money. If anything breaks it takes them months to fix, they buy cheap quality products and wonder why they break, and they will never give you a pay rise (as the manager and senior physio complained about alot at front desk). - Upper management count cancellations and are overly concerned with why staff can't control cancellation counts. - Bias against pregnancy - Talk negatively about previous staff members at reception.

Pros

You may have access to some equipment that you might not get at other clinics.

Cons

What you are promised and what you get are very different. You will be promised great pay and regular training. You get 7 hours/week unpaid overtime and online videos. (Keep in mind that across 20 clinics, 7 hours a week x 52 weeks in a year = 7000+ hours at 1.5x rate. This company is engaging in $400,000/year of wage theft.) There is a HUGE barrier between upper management and everyone else. Information is masked behind “considering”, “reviewing" and “evaluating”. You will never know what is happening until after it has happened. Especially when it comes to finances and staffing. Good luck getting a pay rise. Later hires with less experience will be brought on at $10k more than their supervisors! Senior management are strongly 'money first' in their views. They will directly as you to help them misrepresent their business, and exploit trade partners in order to lower outlays and claim more benefits/offsets. (Of which they get the benefit, not you.) They are so bad, even recruiting agencies will not work with them! Be very, very careful with contracts, and confirm specifically the pre-requisites for any bonus structure. An undercurrent of gender bias pervades head office. If you are a woman (especially in admin), you will be looked down on and exploited. 20min appointments. It's expected you can assess, treat, and write notes in that time. You are aggressively discouraged from running over. You cannot provide adequate care; especially for those who are at-risk or vulnerable. If you try to do more, you will be reprimanded.
