      Company is led by ego instead of strategy and industry experience

      Pros

      Small start up with lengthy contracts in the beginning

      Cons

      Local contracts were lost due to CEO's ego. Most experienced rev cycle leader was let go in a poor manor which left the rest of the team uncertain and unsupported. This started the downward spiral of the company culture that made this company so exciting and successful at one time.

      Great Place to Work & Learn

      Pros

      I worked at HealthRise for ~3 years in a leadership position, and I can honestly say it was the best 3 years of my professional career. From the great relationships made, to the vast knowledge & experience gained, my tenure was definitely positive and appreciated! Two big drivers were the amount of autonomy allowed as well as interactions/collaborations being encouraged at all levels within the company.

      Cons

      Being that this is a Consulting Firm, it shouldn't come as a surprise that travel plays a role. It works for many, but the timing wasn't right for me.

      Great Company with All-In attitude

      Pros

      The culture, sense of community, and individual agency is unmatched. HealthRise is a place in which you merit and work ethic is how you rise rather than your educational background alone.

      Cons

      A tough environment for those who are usually advisors (only), the HealthRise employees strive for excellence and are extremely action oriented.
