Better opportunities are out there

Pros

The availability to work home occasionally and great co-workers. There location is beautiful. The option to drink a beer at 3:30 on Fridays.

Cons

Little to no cultural diversity whatsoever. Work load can change at any moment due to software issues. Management are family friends or relatives of CEO. I have never worked anywhere in a professional setting where a manager has hired their younger sibling. You really cannot go to management for errors or issues in confidence due to the work place environment. Manager will lie right to face about things. Having to pay for parking downtown is definitely con. Pay is low compared to other jobs in data analytics.

Cold calling sales culture

Pros

Most of the people were great to work with

Cons

The sales culture revolves around cold calling. You are expected to make 120 cold calls a day to CFO's (meaning you are calling the same number 4 times a day hoping they pick up or hoping you are calling when their receptionist is not at their desk ). On average maybe 3 people would pick up the phone and most of them would hang up on you. On top of this, you are working in territories that have been worked for the past 6 years. With only 5000 hospitals in the US (half of which are managed by larger corporations who do not have the ability to make decision like hiring Healthfuse) it is basically impossible to get 5 new leads a week. The position title, associate of client services is misleading. Inside sales representative is more fitting.

Young Company-Empty Promises

Pros

Healthfuse is very successful at what they do and their clients seem to be happy. Quiet environment with lots of heads down work, if that's what you're into. Great benefits.

Cons

They seemed to promise many opportunities, but they never followed through. Communication is not strong between departments and it can take weeks to get a simple report from other employees. Can be difficult to fit in to culture.
