Pros

Such a welcoming environment full of ambitious and hard-working individuals. Great contests, bonuses, and other incentives to keep people motivated. You become really close with the people you work with, which I really enjoy.

Cons

Benefits package could be stronger.

Pros

Met some life long friends, easy to bond over your hate of your employer.

Cons

This is a horrible company in a worse industry, the cons are as follows: -You will be paid $17/hr about to 28k after taxes -"Top earners make 80k-110k", NOPE the top #1 earner made about $60k (then quit after his big bonus) -I was there less than a year and I counted and watched 50 people become employed, and all BUT 2 of those people were still there when I left. Turnover is INSANE even for sales -They hire folks transitioning from college, corporate environments, and call centers. That is solely to make sure you won't catch on to the poor work environment -You are SELLING medicare plans to the very old people, and I was directed on more than one occasion to switch senile confused older people just to get the sale (whether it was better for them was second nature) -Did I help a few folks, yes, but that was the minority of my work -These people get called about this stuff anywhere from 10-25 times a day -When you change their plans "for the sale" you are told to ask the bare minimum bc they are going to lose their doctor, specialists, and in some cases medication coverage -You will be switching people who have switched plans 5+ times already that year. Think about that! when was the last time you changed your health insurance plan......? You are just tricking old people -You will be berated by old people bc they cant tell if your a scam or not -^^^^^That is because the Call Centers that are hired are from India and Southeast Asia (and bc they are not held to the same regulator standards as a US Licensed insurance producer) they false advertise like crazy. -You have to denote when you go to get a drink of water or use the bathroom in your system -There is an arch to your time at the company that looks like this: 1)Excited to get a new job, the training and testing seems legit. You are ready to get on the phones 2)You start getting sales, and based on the commission structure and your math, it looks like a big check coming your way 3) You find out that these people who always change plans have to stick with yours for a whole month....guess what A LOT don't because your only option was to put them in a bad plan to get the sale. 4)You slowly get tired and exhausted emotionally, as half your day is trying to calm people down who constantly harassed by the Call Centers who lie uncontrollably. You start to feel bad and wrong about messing with peoples doctors and coverage (their health). Management gets mad at you bc your not "enthusiastic" about your work 5) you and about 10 other coworkers complain to one another bc your manager and upper management wont do a dang thing 6) You watch as all of your friends and family find fulfilling, college level paying jobs, where they provide some value to the world I will end with this, outside of 1 of those 50 people who turned over, they all had almost the same exact experience. I beg you do anything else with your life for your own good, this place and industry is a dirty place. Had I read something like this maybe it would have saved me time, time I can't get back. But hey if you wanna give it a go, go for it. Just make sure to come back and like this review when you join that 70% turnover rate.

Pros

Hour lunches. Occasional prizes and drinks/snacks. Select coworkers. This app requires me to type a minimum of 15 words, so that’s what I’m doing.

Cons

This company has no morals. You are not helping people, you are preying and screwing them over. If the client is already on a stellar plan, you are still required to sell them a garbage one. Also, you WILL be cold calling- in fact, that’ll be most of your day. Surprise! Besides that, VERY sneaky coworkers. They do not honor your sales- they go in and resell the plan that you’ve already sold. The numbers are all false- “top” sellers are vindictive and sell garbage plans that don’t even stick. It puts pressure on the other salesmen, but it’s all a lie. At this company you are literally just a number- if you’re not selling, you are insignificant. Please read these reviews and look at this company’s overall retention- what’s understood doesn’t have to be explained. This company wants to expand, but how does it make sense that you’re hiring 50 new people just for 50 veterans to leave? If you need a temporary job, come. I guarantee you that you’ll be looking for new employment a couple months down the line.
