Pros

Dogs, customers, and some of the employees were amazing

Cons

Everything about this company is just toxic starting from management all the way to the owners. It’s a shame this once was the company to be at but unfortunately not anymore.

Pros

The day-to-day work itself and the customer base are great.

Cons

Since the new company took over, the workplace has become incredibly toxic. The business model was changed osignificantly higher workloads, yet the pay remains terrible and does not match the new expectations.

Pros

You genuinely can connect with pets and your clients if that is a priority for your grooming career, which it should be. Connecting with clients isn't part of this companies requirements though..

Cons

Lack of accountability in leadership Leadership flat out lies to your face or HR avoiding their employees nor will there be claimed follow ups Lies to groomers to get them to work for this horrible company. Claims to provide groomers with bathers during the hiring process knowing very well there is a huge understaff of bathers which they don't intend on training well and force you to struggle and figure it out yourself More groomers hired than there is bathers for them. Offering roles that aren't available and scrambling to hire just to be completely unprepared. Does not think ahead in the slightest. Even if you don't have a bather you are told that you have to meet an unsafe requirement of animals within your schedule and has no regard for how staff morale or safety is effected Constantly raising the prices on clients but continuously underpaying their groomers & bathers. Non-negotiable wages Doesn't care about the well being of the animals. There have been multiple occasions of harsh working conditions not only in this location but others as well. Dangerous heat in the summer for pets and employees No due diligence. Treats preventative complaints and measures from staff very lightly and makes it our problem to figure out once the problem does arise. Does not care for educating their staff or clients about how to better help the dogs or ensure that they have a safe stress free environment. Allows staff to yell at the dogs. Allows bathers with improper training to actively mishandle dogs. Does not teach bathers when to stop when there are VERY CLEAR signs of stress. Picks and chooses what rules to follow or enforce depending on where you're at in the political sense of the salon. This corporation is toxic and run by people who don't value their staff or their customers. If you have issues you are simply expected to just deal with it or leave. This is not the place you want to groom, learn to groom, or bathe for. Grooming school here is a complete joke and doesn't care to have any standards at all for what's supposed to be a continuous learning career.
