Pros
The work is very hard. It's emotionally and physically straining. But very rewarding. You learn a lot about yourself and what you can bring to the table in many different situations. There is support if you seek it. The heart of the organization is great.
Cons
While there is support if you seek it, there isn't much spiritual support. and in a ministry, this type of support is vital. especially for the type of work you will be doing. Your health needs to be great. This job will wear you out in every way. You WILL be sleep deprived. While they do encourage having a personal life outside of Heartlight, there is not much time to have one, or make one in the area.
