The Job itself. I am an electrician a good one too. I can program all kinds of software and I can even design DCS factory layout and control reports. I only saw one plant that I used my background. Not sure why they hired me. I clearly put that I had a back ground heavy in electrical. I did notice whoever does program is kinda clueless. The plants have incorrect displays on the HMIs and process. I could have had them on the next level they should most company's aim to be at. I just saw it not as a priority. So not being able to place talent in the correct position.
The Health benefits are horrible.
The place is up in Wisconsin what more can I say.

Thank you so much for the positive feedback.
We're sorry to hear that you felt some employees' views were favored. At HeatTek, we believe that innovation comes from all directions. We value the perspective of all employees, regardless of tenure, experience level, or department.
Very impressed with the business knowledge of the leadership. They know the industry. Very professional atmosphere. Paid overtime for engineering hours on projects is great. Remote work one day a week is great, and they make a good effort to support remote work. They provide good equipment and IT support for remote work. Coworkers are great, knowledgeable and easy to get along with. Updated office area is pleasant and new conference rooms are next level.
Cons
It is hard to think of a con that isn't actively being worked on improving. I would say time tracking is more rigid and closely watched than other places I have worked. That takes some getting used to, but the upside is paid overtime when more hours are needed.
