Pros

good money - not great. Organized work locations. Currently, an abundance of work and bodies to help get er done.

Cons

Disorganized and fire fighting constantly. All levels and, seemingly, all areas... even lack of proper training and the common job objectives, how to accomplish. Defined Worker interpersonal attitudes by the Direct regarding Temporary Workers (I've been a Temp).. sadly, similar to other large Employers.. bordering on disrespectful. (a Direct employee says -- they're only a Temp in both tone and body language)

Pros

good health benefits, fun projects, great people, cool industry. Continuous improvement ingrained in culture. Reasonable work/life balance for most positions.

Cons

Most people who have been at HT 10+ years have been layed-off at some point in their careers here. Pay is well below industry-average. A lot of negativity and low morale as it seems more people are layed-off every few months. Change happens very quickly (result of kaizen events) but is very poorly communicated.

There is always prone to be had. The management sends to be knowledgeable.

Cons

This company has been in recovery for several years. They are on several blacklists due to not being able to ship on time. This creates a lot of mandatory overtime.
