- Company develops new technologies and makes outlandish, bold claims about what they can do - Gets big names like Hugo Boss, announces a lot of PR to try to drive up stock price. Really more just smoke and mirrors with no actual results - Deceives partners and customers with claims that ultimately don't bear out in the data or in trials
