Pros
After reading the negative reviews I felt compelled to add a positive review. The company is in a growing stage and is a start-up. It seems some of the workforce don't realize that with stat-ups, companies will go through growing pains. The leadership team has been completely transparent in every step of the way. Layoffs often occur during a transition phase of any company. However, the company is not laying off individuals due to race or gender. Companies have to decide where there is overlap or where there is need for stronger team members. We have a lot of open positions that may not have been available to add to our headcount until all positions are considered. We have a very strong leadership team and with the addition of our new CFO, the future looks bright. I love working for Heliogen. We have some of the most intelligent and inspiring employees I've ever had the pleasure to work with. Our benefits are very good. Very strong 401k Match and the work life balance that is afforded to us is fantastic. If you're considering a position with Heliogen, please don't be swayed by the negative reviews. I truly believe they have been written by a few disgruntled employees. I promise you will be happy here.
Cons
The few disgruntled employees who don't really understand how small start-ups work. This will come in time as they age and mature and gain real life business experience.
