      Bad management in New York

      Pros

      Project type includes some civic and office building stuff. May take more responsibility

      Cons

      Management is really bad. Hire people based on the projects, if no upcoming project, they will terminate your contract and let you go immediately. Bad medical insurance, small studio with almost no mentorship for the young stuff. The leader are always busy and prefer you to study hard and overtime. The benefit here is really different from the Copenhagen office. Hard to get new projects as a new office here.

      - The international work environment is amazing, with people from all over the world and many different cultures and perspectives. - There’s a strong sense of teamwork, and the managers are supportive with clear communication. - The free lunches are a big plus lol, with great food that makes the day more enjoyable. - There are many opportunities to grow professionally by working on exciting, large-scale projects and developing new skills.

      - The loooong workdays can make it hard to find a good work-life balance. - Sometimes projects are assigned without a proper introduction, which can create confusion in the beginning. - There’s a heavy focus on production and aesthetics, which sometimes overshadows human-centered design, cultural heritage, and what sustainability actually means. - The high-pressure environment to deliver top results can feel overwhelming at times.
