Pros

Good pay and benefits. Autonomy to make decisions and move process forward.

Cons

Inept senior leadership in key positions. Very poor communication channels. Areas of responsibility were 'blurred' at senior levels. That is, departments heads (directors; VP's; Exec. VP's) often overstepped their areas of competence and direct responsibility. This created chaotic actions and excessive cost overruns. There was never a consistent plan when it came to desired outcomes and the projects were in a constant state of flux. Minimal structure...too much 'free-lancing'.

Good pay, the possibility to advance when you put forth effort. People willing to help you learn and grow. Goals and direction of the company are clearly communicated.

Cons

Young company, has some growing pains. The whole industry is going through a tough time,which has an effect on employees' overall attitude towards the company.

Relatively decent wage, though with the constant danger of acquiring silicosis..the benefits don't outweigh the risk

Cons

Management was known for making huge promises of promotions and advancement mostly as a scam to keep it's employees, eventually most employees figured out this tactic, and many left, in essence forcing the company to pay a higher wage.
