Cons
There was zero pathway for advancement— I came in doing what I left doing three years later, and it wasn't because I wasn't trying or wasn't good at it. They interview you about 'growth opportunities' but the second you're hired it's like, okay this is your position forever, good luck. The supervisor was never actually available to mentor you on anything more complex. always tied up with other stuff, so you're just running through the same routine for years hoping something changes. Nobody got promoted, and when you asked about a development plan they'd either dodge it or promise 'we'll figure it out' which never happened. You hit a ceiling immediately and never move, and it feels intentional- they want workers, not people building careers. Depressing.
