Pros

You get to work on brands like Reebok and Champion. You get out at 3pm every Friday (but you more than make up those hours being pressured into working late/weekends/etc).

Cons

I would not recommend working here, particularly due to the toxic leadership within the Design department. The VP of Design is known for playing favorites, having a large ego, and creating a hostile work environment. There’s been extremely high turnover on that team, largely due to her unprofessional behavior, including bullying and erratic mood swings. During my time there, at least three people were let go without notice — each time under the vague reasoning of “restructuring,” when in reality it was more about the VP’s inability to manage stress or treat her team with basic respect. Even longtime employees who are considered her “favorites” quietly advise others to avoid her when she’s having a bad week, which unfortunately is often. She initially presents herself as warm and supportive to new hires, but that behavior tends to shift without warning. Beyond the issues in leadership, the company as a whole does not demonstrate care for its employees. In 2022, the company was charged by the U.S. government for attempting to avoid paying hundreds of thousands of dollars in import duties. The Production team was instructed to ask vendors to falsify invoice values. The company ultimately lost the case and had to pay over $1.2 million in a settlement — and yet no employees received raises or bonuses that year, with no explanation. You can verify this by searching for the court case “v High Life LLC.” Overall, my experience here was disappointing and disheartening. There is little transparency, minimal employee support, and an unhealthy work culture driven by fear and favoritism.

Pros

There is a good work life balance. the hybrid model lets you have space for personal life and also get work done. you can learn a lot here if you start at an entry level position. Some free activewear clothing, and a nice office.

Cons

Design managers and VP of Design are extreme micromanagers. Managers are very rude and mean, a lot of bad mouthing of other employees below them as though they are on the same level as them which is mind blowing as these managers are 35+ and associates/assistants are in their mid 20's. no work culture or gatherings. they dont pay over time so do not do more than you need to and expect a salary raise or bonus.... mediocre team spirit, and a lot of lying on growth.
