I enjoyed my time at High Trees, it was a great experience, and the work felt like I could see the impact it was making, which isn’t always the case. The different services can be a bit confusing at the beginning but once you see how it all comes together, it’s exciting to see how we all contribute to the big picture. my team was a nice size and liked that we were such a mix of people from different backgrounds and ages and cultures, which I didn't have at my last place. I learnt a lot and some very fun moments but the best part for me was the work itself!
Cons
They’re really clear from the start that it’s a fully office-based role, and they stick to that so there’s no hybrid option at all. That’s great for some people, but I would have preferred a bit more flexibility. The location is well connected, but it’s not in the middle of everything, and there aren’t loads of lunch options. That said, Brockwell Park is nearby and great for a walk in the summer!

Very uncomfortable environment to work in unable to speak to each other even as colleagues. Morbid feeling in the office nothing like I have ever experienced, walk around and you feel all eyes on you. Its like a Rat trapped in a cage. Find yourself forever watching the clock just to get out and speak freely. Incestual feeling with head of staff all connected to each other in some way be it by family or affairs.
