Pros

Wonderful fringe benefits (free lunch, gain sharing, promote from within, training, paid schooling)

Cons

There are many things that at face value seem great, but the longer you work there the deeper the issues become. They are real issues that hinder the growth of the company. Many bosses for the same departments with each a different view on how things should be ran. There are some “favorites” within the company. It’s great when you’re in that side of things, but you’ll be pushed out when you’re not! There is a strict no family being hired rule. This seemingly doesn’t apply to multiple people within the company, including the owners son. There’s a lie that keeps people at the company many years. “You’ll never find a place like this” or “you won’t be happy any where else”. This is false. There are many great companies to work with and good people exist everywhere. I left on good terms, but feel I’d never be able to return to say hello to many of the friends I have made there.

Pros

some genuinely good people who try their best. production workers are treated well. free lunch. unique but dysfunctional culture and can feel like a cult. some investment in training and growing production workers

Cons

company funds a life of luxury for ownership while workers are told times are tough. little interest in replacing outdated or unsafe machines. business is deliberately kept small to avoid additional regulations. large, fragile egos at the management level means there is little room for other opinions and submission is the only way to advance. what should be private issues within ownership family surface at work creating an awkward environment. production workers are the victims of evil office workers. small group of long-time employees get special perks and treatment. poorly managed operations so every new order is a surprise fire drill. the amazing 'culture' they have allegedly created there is nothing special for those who have had the experience of working for other companies

Pros

Flexible with time off for emergency

Cons

The place is miserable. All the employees are miserable and management sucks. Very unsafe place to work and the owners are greedy. The Hindles are greedy and very rich but do not pay well. Benefits are garbage and their management team cannot even speak English or wrote emails correctly. Place is a joke!

We are very sorry our company has not lived up to your expectations. We try to live by our operational guidelines and if you feel we have not done so, we ask you to please speak with HR for ways to improve your overall experience with us. We believe our management team has done well improving the company's performance through both employee growth and financial execution. We stand by our team, and fully believe in their abilities to meet the challenge. English as a native language and precise grammar is not a prerequisite for success at our company.
