      Pros

      The people at Hodlnaut are nice to work with.

      Cons

      Very steep learning curve because managers don't have time to guide you as they are very busy. There is pressure to respond to work messages after office hours even though it might not be urgent and it can be settled the following day. Sometimes, we receive messages at 12am/1am. There is a lot of OT!!! Even when you're on leave, you'll still receive messages about work. Those messages can wait till employees are back at work. There is a lot of expectation and pressure to respond to work messages since your colleagues and managers are doing so.

      - Supportive environment between employees - Much to learn

      Cons

      - Company's trust default of its employees is distrust. The concept of trust is unmalleable and is self-serving. Employees need to earn the trust of a select few to be granted rights which are subject to discretion. - People aspect is missing altogether. There is a lack of empathy in this company from the management. - Miscommunication is rife between the management, HR and the team. - Lack of consultative communication between managers and employees. Voices and opinions of employees are not heard nor respected. - Employees are highly stressed to deliver and are pushed to the brink. - Company is unknowingly creating a culture of fear. If you are looking for a western corporate culture, a company where you feel trusted, and given respect or consideration for your opinions, then this place might not be best suited to you.

      We would like to highlight that this review was written by a former and not existing employee whom did not pass his probation. The employee has request for a 3 weeks holiday (to go overseas with family) during his probation which got denied by the senior management. He has since left the firm due to this disagreement. While we are sad that no compromise could be reached, we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
