      Benefits were above average for the area.

      Cons

      Absolutely no loyalty to employees. Fired a large group of long term employees on one day and then had the audacity to allow a newspaper to print an article about how they never have layoffs.

      Thank you for sharing your perspective. The situation you refer to was extraordinarily unique and very difficult for everyone involved. Although the specific reasons are complex and must remain confidential, we felt the action taken was in the best interest of all at Hoffer Plastics. Employee departures are losses, and we will continue to work very hard to do as much as possible to prevent them.

      Not anything worthy enough to list.

      Cons

      I've waited quite some time before writing this in the hope my opinion would soften. It hasn't and I would be remiss if I didn't warn people what a HORRIBLE place this is. I was lied to from the get go. Doesn't matter if you do your job or not. If there is a relative or friend that needs a job or if they need a scapegoat you're out.

      Things could be much better.

      Pros

      Available overtime, company not afraid to spend money to improve facilities

      Cons

      Very poor communication in day-to day activities, management very closed-minded and set in their ways, poor level of expertise in management.
