Pros

Pretty nice salary (~30$/h), two weeks in pretty OK hotel for your testing period, nice kitchen with skilled cooks.

Cons

Horrible code quality, TONS of legacy code and tools, totally disrespect from entire management to you, crazy overtime, communications are undesirable, no career opportunities, local VM without root access and absolutely uninteresting tasks. You can be fired in your second working day with reasons which are out of laws of software development and out of laws of physics at all, by a manager who don't even know what is javascript. They actually don't search for the developers but "stars". They use a waterfall-driven HR policy: they hire developers from entire the world with a pretty basic test tasks and interviews. When you're arrive you should sit down near computer and start coding like you always worked with their tons of legacy code and tools (then even have their own CVS). If manager didnt like you in any possible way you'll gonna being fired no matter how long your test period should be. Hola and Hola's CTO have a bad reputation at all and its pretty looks like their HRs searching and monitoring for bad reviews.

Pros

I cannot think of one positive factor having only worked here under a year. Although the developers are of very high standard.

Cons

This was the most horrific experience of my life, every morning I dreading waking up having to go to this disgusting place. They con you into the job with their fancy offices, in house chef, table tennis.... You are constantly in fear of being fired if you don't meet targets, the CEO & CTO are pure evil.

Pros

Very talented ordinary developers, complex interesting tasks, good salary, cool hotel, friendly & safe district, nice women, very good food.

Cons

Company is using outdated tools like cvs, vim and are forcing you to use them. IDEs are prohibited, developers are forced to commit daily even if task is not finished, branches are prohibited. Mid management is micromanaging. Poor source code quality, which doesn't match company coding conventions. Office is noisy and have no glasses, so boss will always see your screen. Before being hired you are invoked to work in Israel for few weeks without contract. This is illegal, you will have to lie to the police officer in the airport that you are just travelling. AFAIK one of software developer was nervous during interview at the passport control, so he was taken to jail during this process, this is what company members told me. While you are working without contract you are most likely to be fired, because they are filtering people agressively. Don't go there unless you have nothing to loose. Development competition is unfair, because many people know tasks in advance and tasks are always the same.
