Pros

Decent Models in good locations to generate traffic

Cons

Talk about Day-Dreaming?! Management calls multiple times a day to check, "What are you selling today", as if sales are generated by the hour. Management speaks of market slow-down then follows up with higher quotas from the previous year. Commission Plan changes with absolutely no warning which decreases you income (seriously?)! Worst of all is the quality being sold; delivered homes are FAR inferior to the Models. Extremely poor quality with finishes and workmanship. Finished product looks like apartment home, cookie cutter home. Cheap, cheap, cheap. read reviews of this company before representing them. Salespeople pay the assistants from their own, earned, commission and the assistants really do very, very little (they are salaried as well). I'm leaving first chance I get. Ask the hard questions before accepting a position here. Check the walk away commission structure and consider how much you leave on the table when you leave. Do not allow a big backlog of earned commission because you will never see anything if you leave. They lock you in with this, or will let you go without paying. As for the, "Employee Owned Company"-completely useless. No employee would make you fear your job security every day, give unrealistic quotas, change the comp plan without any forewarning, Reminds me of the ridiculous comp plan at Ryan Homes.

Pros

The list is long, but I will only got into a few here. 1. Being an Employee Owned company everyone pull together to get the job done the right way the first time. 2. The vision of the company is very forward thinking and results driven. 3. We are not the big builder, but we are the right size builder where every person in the company matters and contributes. You will never be just a number here. 4. Some of the best people in the industry work for Holiday Builders. 5. Good People are always wanted to work with us and be part of our team. If you are thinking about joining the Holiday Team, you are looking down the right path.

Cons

I have been here 10 years this year 2020 and the only "con" I can see in my future is having to retire from this company in the next 7 years.
