      Pros

      Extremely happy with the experience and opportunities extended to me working with Holland. The company culture is amazing and company leadership is extremely supportive of the workforce. I have enjoyed working with Holland over the years.

      Cons

      Opportunities for advancement can be limited depending on the type of work you do for Holland. There seems to be a disconnect between Holland corporate and terminal operations. The disconnect is not due to lack or concern or interest by upper management but just the separation between corporate and overall terminal operations.

      Bad equipment,on give back for pay and pension and vacation time.

      Decent pay, paid weekly, consistent schedule...

      Cons

      Being the youngest, only woman on the dock can be a bit challenging. Union dock workers are lazy, however I have realized it's because of the lack of leadership within the terminal.
