working at hollywire was truly one of the most harrowing experiences of my life. i started off as an intern and worked on/off sporadically for a few years after i would resign and they would come crawling back to me. the smoke and mirrors were great at first but that is all there is. everything about this company is contrived. in the entertainment industry, hollywire is not a respected or even thought-of name. i’ve been on multiple red carpets where once i’ve said what company i’m from the initial response was always, “oof. how is that?” the company has been failing so badly for so many years that the “CEO” isn’t even able to publicly share any of their KPIs because they’re embarrassing. tony moras is the malignant mass that has plagued hollywire. he took such a great company and ran it straight into the ground because of his lack of knowledge on business. due to his complete lack of knowledge of everything basically, the success of the company relies solely on the shoulders of whoever is doing the physical publishing for hollywire. i was never the one actually writing the stories, or the one actually cutting the videos, but when the story didn’t do well, it was my fault. not to mention gabi conti, tony’s minion. gabi is a failed writer who also likes to take her emotions out on coworkers. the blatant disrespect i had faced from gabi was reason enough to quit but when i went to tony to discuss the disrespect i was facing, he laughed at me. tony moras is genuinely one of the worst human beings i’ve ever met in my life. through my years of working there he belittled me, verbally abused me and made me work on call like a nurse (definitely not getting paid like one.) i was working 12 hour days 5 days a week and about 6-8 hours each weekend. i had no life other than hollywire. i had to take my laptop with me when i would go out to bars or restaurants with my friends. on mother’s day my family went to the beach but i was in the parking lot on my laptop because work “had” to get done and tony couldn’t wait. tony takes advantage of young women because he knows he’ll be able to hold power over them so they’re too afraid to speak out or against him. the stress of this job got so intense that i started having PHYSICAL health issues. half of my body broke out in a rash due to STRESS. i started having panic attacks any time i would get a phone call from tony because i knew i was about to get screamed at on the phone. it’s important to mention that while all of this abuse was happening i was between the ages of 19-22. for the love of god do NOT work here unless you want lifelong trauma that will take years to forget. do not believe tony’s lies!
