Pros

OK salary and some of the people were OK.

Cons

Company not focused on safety. I left because I felt it was a little dangerous in the yard. Also, it's a family business which means unless you are family the owner isn't going to promote you.

Pros

Lots of flexibility and a variety of tasks depending on your role. Room to grow. If you show initiative and a willingness to learn there is room to build a career within the company. Opportunities to network with industry partners on a daily basis and visit with lots of great farmers and people in the agricultural industry. Opportunities to be continuously learning. I feel like I learn something new everyday or talk to someone who has a new idea that I would have never thought of. Support from senior agronomists

Cons

Seasonally long hours, personally I have no issues with this and kind of enjoy it but know it is a con for most people. Can be difficult to find a consistent work life balance if you aren't use to a agricultural lifestyle.
