Pros
Amazing coworkers (though they're as overworked as you are), some managers who cares (though they can't do much). An excellent learning opportunity.
Cons
Horrible patient ratios throughout the entire Hospital - IMC is 5:1, medsurg 6:1, even NICU often 5:1. Poor pay. The staff is overworked so that your coworkers can't help you because the entire floor is drowning. Three patient ICU assignments are a daily occurrence. Doctors provide little information to families, leaving them in the dark. No aides on the unit.
